Hello new and old friends! My name is Faith Sandoval. I am so glad that you decided to check out my website! For so long I have wanted to give back to others by sharing with you my experiences of trials and blessings to keep you encouraged in your faith! I want to share my resources and teach you things to help you and encourage you along in wherever you are at in your autism journey with your family. I want to get to know you. So, let’s chat!
Here’s a little about me. I have a lot of “labels,” but I love them all! They are all part of the callings God has placed on my life. It is not always easy, BUT GOD is always faithful to reveal His everlasting love to me through everything!
First, I am a child of God! I love Jesus! In my younger years I chose a wide and destructive road to navigate ignorantly, BUT GOD chased after me, met me where I was at and poured on His grace and love in such a way it stirred me to abandon my own ways and choose His ways instead. After all, His ways have always been far better than I could imagine! I haven’t looked back since! My life has had its share of some pretty traumatic trials in my faith walk, BUT GOD has turned EVERYTHING to good and I am confident that He always will no matter what. He is with me forever!
I am a wife to a firefighter. My husband is also the chef of our home! His recipes will be shared soon!
I am a girl mom and I am a mom to a son with autism.
I am a homeschool mom.
I am an exceptional needs classroom leader at our church.
I am a former Physical Therapist Assistant with 12 years experience working with all ages and abilities. I also have a bachelor’s degree in health science.
After having my first child, a daughter, I longed to stay at home. Then, that desire grew even more after having my second child, a son, almost 2 years later and then especially discovering by 18 months old that that he has autism. I wanted to stay home with him and help support him in every way possible. After seasons of full-time, part-time and being PRN as a physical therapy assistant, I felt the Lord calling me to stay home with my kids full-time. It was only a few months after I took that step of faith in obedience that the Lord really laid on my heart in January 2022 to start reaching out to other autism families, sharing with them the things that the Lord has shown me along the way to build up our family and be active in helping my son with autism thrive with natural solutions!
That’s why I am here. To encourage you. To support you. To pray for you. To educate you. To be your cheerleader. To challenge you to persevere. To show you that staying in a mindset of hope will bring you that peace and comfort you long for so your whole family can thrive! So another label you can add to my list is an Autism Parent Coach! I am so excited to hear about how the Lord is working in your lives through your own autism journey!
With each of these labels as part of my life, I trust and know that the Lord has guided and directed me in taking some tough steps of faith. He’s given me so many answers to so many decisions. I started this online journey to share what He has shown me in hopes it will help you, encourage you, and motivate you to truly know Jesus has your back. A life with Him is the ultimate fulfillment no matter what your “labels” are or what trials come with them. I am so excited to hear from you!
